On Friday my friends, family, and I went to a local art gallery for this year’s student art showcase. I was fortunate enough to have one of my photographs be selected to be put on display! It was such an amazing night seeing my work up on a wall in an art gallery and being with my friends and family. Thank you to everyone who came out to the show to see “The Man in the Bowtie” and a special thank you to the man in the bowtie himself. Alex has been a gem this whole past semester when it came to my photography and art classes. He happily posed for everything I asked him to and was an incredible help when I got confused about something. Thank you sweetheart!

So after 122 days of photos and posting them here, I’m tired. It hasn’t been fun for the past couple of months. I’m sure you’ve probably noticed I post upwards to five days at one time and no longer post them the day after they happen. With working every day at the university, maintaining a YouTube channel that I update regularly, and wanting to socialize with people, I am stopping the 365 Project in its tracks. It’s not that I don’t still take photos every day, it’s more that I’m just not interested in doing the project anymore. I’m so active on the internet and in documenting things as it is that I really don’t need this other project. So with that, I hereby (happily) admit defeat. It was a good run, but I’m glad for it to be over. Thanks for coming on the short journey with me. Now let’s get back to our regularly scheduled blogging shall we?
The Graduation Celebration event that I have been preparing for since I got my job at the university finally happened! It was such a blur of an event because I spent the whole time taking tons of photos!
I FINALLY opened another envelop that Alex gave me for Christmas. Inside this date envelope was a dinner for two. Ironically enough we had just gotten home from going to Outback Steakhouse with our two sets of parents. They met for the first time!
