I am taking a digital photography class to work on my photography minor and we had our first assignment critique today. We use Flickr to post and share our photos. In our Flickr group my professor opened up a discussion post in which he picked a few photos taken by students in the class. Two of mine were chosen!! Here’s what he had to say initially about them in the discussion:
When he got to my photos in the in-class discussion, he talked about the balance of the frame in the first photograph. That although you can’t really tell exactly what the message of the photo is, your eye bounces from the landscape to the bold tractor. The second image he called poetic, talking about the battle between winter and machine. I’m definitely feeling a glow of success come into my face. Here’s hoping he likes the other 16 photos as well.
