Current Curiosities: 1/4/10

With today being Under the Microscope’s two month anniversary I thought it appropriately ironic to celebrate it by talking about things other than the blog itself. Over the past few months I’ve become (at least to me anyway) more hooked to the internet. As a result of this, I’ve been introduced to a few new things that I have yet to try, but am quite curious to do so. Curiosity is a natural part of a person’s development, and these are the things that are currently sparking my interest.

MY CURRENT CURIOSITIES:

1. LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics

I just recently watched juicystar07’s Lush Haul and was immediately intrigued by this company. They sell a variety of products for baths (which I love to take more of if only I had the time), showers, skin care, etc. All their products are handmade from ingredients that aren’t tested on animals (always a huge plus in my book). I’m very curious to try some of their products.

2. e.l.f. cosmetics

I’ve been hearing about this brand of makeup more and more from different beauty experts on YouTube, so I went to their website and was stunned. Their prices are amazingly affordable and from the reviews I’ve heard, their products are really high quality for such a good price. I’m really excited to use the coupon code LOYAL to get a free gift with my first order!

3. YouTube

Everyone knows about YouTube these days. I’ve watched my fair share of videos to say the least, but recently I’ve been mulling over the idea of doing videos myself. I’m not sure what I’d even talk about, but I’m curious to give it a try. I don’t want to rush out and by a video camera though if I end up not keeping up with the videos though, so I’m going to wait a week or so and see if I still want to give it a try.

If you’ve purchased anything from e.l.f. or LUSH please leave a comment telling me what you think! If you or someone you know does YouTube videos, I’d love to get some advice ( :
